CTPAT
Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)’s voluntary supply-chain security program where CBP and members of the trade community work together to secure and facilitate the movement of legitimate international trade. The purpose of CTPAT is to stop or prevent the risk of intrusion of terrorist organizations in the U.S and international supply chain. Being CTPAT certified many benefits are allowed for the cargo at the U.S. Borders.
